Love the racks!

Will have to post pics from desktop tomorrow. My Metallic Black '81 SC has gone 311k miles!

Metallic Black (708) is a great color.

Another one!

This is my 1980 911SC coupe in black metallic. It was given a bare metal repaint about 2 years ago. Rocker panels deleted, fiberglass RS rear bumper and Turbo style front valence. All window trim polished bright. Wheels are 7x16 front and 8x16 rear.Engine is now a 3.3SS w/964 cams, Carrera twin plug heads and XDi direct fire ignition. Seats and shoulder harnesses are by Corbeau. Interior is done in the RS style w/lightweight door panels and carpets. The console has been deleted.

Looks good, did you just buy it? I think I saw it on CL a few days ago, good score.

1980 Weissach - One in the sun and one under overcast skies sporting the h4's. Most sunny days, it has more browns than grays.

Sure did. Thank you. My dad and I thought so too. The guys phone was ringing off the hook with sight unseen offers...luckily we lived 10 mins away and snagged it the same day he listed it.

Since its my favorite model, yes 930 counts! I should left the SC off the title and said 911's

Yes it does fly ! I wax trying to get the old school ski rack on the back like the 356's do but I only had Thule racks and I was still needing access to my engine so I spread the skis out on either side. Zipped tied them. I had a wreath on the back for Christmas . Will post that photo later

Came across this old thread, and thought I'd add my car. Bought around 2014 on Long Island. Lots of rock chips, and gets driven almost every week. Has many multi day rallies without complaint. Can't say I'm crazy about the color, but it is unique and I do like it.
