Nothing particular comes to mind but you may want to see what's going on at Hallet, it's track just NE of OKC and I've attended some great Porsche Club events there. The also have some good non Porsche specific events that draw Porsche drivers. Many years ago there was, from what I hear, a very big tech event/session in OKC but that was back when I was driving BMWs...
The Dallas Area is not too far away and there could always be something going on there as well now that its getting more into "racing season".

Contact the local PCA region. Send me a PM or email and I can get you in contact with the local regional president. We have a club breakfast on the first Saturday of the month. Not much is happening in February for the rest of the month. The PCA national managed to kill our tech sessions many years ago.

If nothing else, attend the Coffee & Cars event on Sat, Mar 1 at North Park Mall. I'll be there with a '79 SC and an early Bronco.

Speaking of Hallet, do they still have those cool track stickers?
I picked one up on the 80s when I was racing down there and now finally need a replacement

I would assume so. I was first there in 1979 back when Danny Ongias was running.
The Oklahoma City club is going up there in May for the Mayfast event put on by the Tulsa region. It is a fun course. Lots of trees and hills.

If you fancy a 1.5hour drive to Tulsa our PCA chapter has a breakfast every Saturday morning and there is always an interesting selection of cars in attendance.

You might consider driving old US 66 either direction from OKC. Driving to southeast Oklahoma through the Quachita Mountains, maybe over the Talimena Drive to Mena AK. You might try driving to Ft Sill and the Wichita Mtns. (drive to the top of Mt Scott). Northwest Arkansas is full of great driving roads.
Plenty to see, so little time! Have Fun! |

That breakfast in Tulsa is not to be missed. Is is still at Utica? There were always some very cool cars there...first time I ever saw a real '73 RS up close and personal was there.

Yea, they eat there every week. I wish our OKC region had a local restaurant that we could go to any Saturday and have a room.
