Dark Teal metallic

I had a 2003 Cab in Dark Teal. I can't find a pic but this color is awesome in person. Just a hint of blue within and it shimmers in the sun like the feathers on a duck's neck.

I found a link on Pelican but the pic doesn't even come close to representing this color.
I'd venture to say it was the nicest color I've ever owned, and truly a rare breed. Always drew rave reviews.

Love the Greens

I'm a big fan of that Olive Green and Irish Green. Although my Prussian Blue wasn't my first choice, it is growing on me. It changes character with different lights. I like the understated colours, but I do have a soft spot for orange as I have Dutch heritage

I feel that the black trim on impact bumper cars look best against a bright color. So I would recommend Mexico blue, Arrow Blue, Lime Green, or Continental Orange.

These are some of my personal favorites:

Nato Green 930 turbo from speedhunters:

Glasurit "22 line" L11 pastel green on a 356:

Aga Blue, would look fantastic with the chrome trim on your car:

Arrow

Although blasphemous to suggest a color from a Scion, I believe I have seen a similar blue on a Porsche before (not sure if it was a factory color). I think this, or a shade darker, would play well with the bright work and the brown interior:

I've never seen a 911 in this color (in person), it's a 356 color but I don't know it's name.

After a long series of color possibilities I narrowed my color down to Bitter Chocolate and Garnet Red, ended up Bitter Chocolate (original color).... UNTILL of course I just saw Nato green Metallic... thanks a lot buddy.... ;-) Nah, kidding, I'm sticking with the Bitter Chocolate.

Lots of choices for you with the brown/black interior, most of them good.

I know you asked about help for a color change. But from the pics of your car the color is pretty nice and I know you said your club has another in that color. But in my opinion your car doesn't look as good as it could. The rims are all wrong. That car should not have those rims and then to paint them all black makes them look ten time worse. I also think you should lose the shark fin stone protector. Just my opinion.

Help me pick out a color for my project's paint job. The car is originally Gold (Casablanca Beige) but there is another car in our club with the same bumpers and same color and I want my car to be unique.

Interior color is Brown with Black accents.

I am not apposed to a modern color and have even thought of a full Carbon Fiber Wrap.

I don not want the traditional colors: silver, black, red, white...

Give me your thoughts and pictures.....

Original color:

Having driven one with a beige interior I have to say Signal Orange gets my vote too.

While browns have a nice following and are once again a popular color, that may change in the years ahead. It may look great now but when (if) you go to sell the car ten years from now Bitter Chocolate may have fallen out of favor and could be a tough sell.

The black wheels are gone, so are the stone guards on the fenders.

The paint looks good in that picture but not now, I had the rear fenders heavily modified, shaved the mirrors, all the emblems.... so staying Gold is ok I guess. There are only a couple of Gold cars in our club and the one that is active, now has the exact same bumpers.

My wife and I saw a pale yellow on a original 76 Turbo years ago but have not been able to find it again. It was almost a dull yellow sort of?? Any ideas??

I like that Nato green but I bet my wife wont and since she supports me without question in all my craziness, her opinion matters greatly to me...

The first Porsche I never bought (bit of a story) was Summer Yellow. It had a dull subtlety. Or maybe it was just crappy oxidized paint. I still think it is one of the best colors.

These are the new wheels, I have considered painting the centers a dark color.
