I now have a soft top convertible. However in my advancing age I am beginning to lust after the AMG SL63 as my next convertible. Last edited by canuck964; 04-10-2014 at 08:16 AM.. |

I think the Targa is beautiful and Ronnie.930's homophobic statements are getting really tiresome.

Well, despite Ronnie's banana ... I think the Targa is an awesome design for the 21st century. I want one! I plan on winning the PCA drawing for one, which will solve any problem I might have about paying for it. ha ha

Nineball- take you a while to look that up?
Check out the production models, you know, like the ones that some people here own. Butzi looks very accomplished in that pic there, with his prototype. Thanks for the great period shot. I may well make it my wallpaper. Edit and yes, that is his original vision. Short Wheel Base. Elevated ride height, soft window, Targa. Pity they are so unappreciated now days.

These are amazing.
My mother-in-law is the unknowing beneficiary of a 2014 991 Targa, ordered as pictured here with a 6-speed. I can't wait to photograph it and my '78 side by side
