Rare color

Have a friend that just purchased a turkey green 1970 911T. How rare is this color? I love the color on the car and have never seen it prior to this car. The 912 registary only lists 2 cars to have this factory color but I cannot find information on the 911.

I'd always thought Turkish Green was a mid-90's metallic colour. Do you have a photo and the paint code tag details?

It's even rarer on turkeys. It's Turkish, not Turkey.

If the turkey is green, it is probably best not to eat it!

I would like to see the colour too. It sounds interesting.

What's the difference between a domestic turkey and a Turkish turkey?

Post a pic. By the time it got to the 993's, they called it "turkish blau" or turquoise blue.

Turkis! That is the word for Turquoise as in the stone, not Turkish or Turkey!

Turkey Green, code R6016, is a beautiful early color! It's very close to my Velvet Green.

True story - many years ago, my aunt used to work for Armour at one of their turkey farms. Her job was to cut off the green parts. Bet you'll remember that at Thanksgiving.

No such color from factory, it's a repaint in most likely a Porsche color but not from 1968.
