Throttle Linkage Adjusment
 

Could not find one either in Search, Factory manual or Bentley! Maybe going blind.

Maybe it does not exist but since Porsche are so anal about adjustment one would think there is got to be one.

I just did mine. Easiest place is where the two linkages meet at the tunnel. Disconnect the ball joint. Loosen nut on shaft that goes to the pedal and adjust. Real easy.

I had some slop in the linkage last year but upon start up this year, the throttle would not return. The bell crank (in red below) at the pedal was getting stuck sideway in the frame...

OK time for a pedal cluster refresh with the bushing kit I bought 4 year ago :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

While in there I change the clutch cable (also bought 4 years ago) and change the "slop buster" the part just out of the tunnel which turn out into a nightmare as the rods on both side was "weld rusted" in place, we end up cutting the part in two piece and work from there. Got it replace (will be a new thread).

Strip all the the pedal cluster parts, paint them, reassemble with no change. Turn out that what I thought was a 2 piece part, is suppose to be a solid part. The pressed pin was loose and wobbling in the hole thus going sideway and getting stuck in the frame. Its being welded as we speak, just can bring myself to pay $70 for it...

Even with the broken piece, I notice the slope is gone.

I'll re-installed tomorrow and do the adjustment.

My friend straighten the bracket, turned a new pin (from a 12.9 bolt), press it in and miged the bolt end to the bracket.

ive had linkage issues with the bending of the bell crank lever highlight above. i just did this to prevent it from happening again. my issue was a mis-adjusted throttle stop, but it will not happen again due to this reinforcement effort. also dabbled a bead on both of the other ball joint affix locals as it appears those are just pressed in.
