Does anyone know what weight to use off hand?

Which gearbox? Ruf still used Porsche gearboxes, either 930s or G50s. Treat it no different. Generally 75w90 and conventional for the 930, synthetic for the G50.

You should give Mike Melville at RUF Auto USA a call. He may have that information. He can be reached at 248-304-9091. Awesome guy!

While I agree with Kyle that Mike is a nice guy. I find that they don't know much about older RUF cars as they have not done many of those upgrades/conversions. I have asked them a few questions that went unanswered for my RUF 993.

In my experience, whatever is recommended for the regular Porsche fluids works well for the RUF cars too. That was the concept of the design of the RUF upgrades, to be usable and serviceable.

I agree with Matt..the regular oil as used in the 930 box should be fine.
