997 mufflers/exhaust

I'm a proud new (to me) owner of a 2005 911 Carrera S, my first Porsche I'm loving the car so far. Like many people I'm after a bit louder exhaust. I've done a bunch of reading and youtube listening and I'm pretty open to different options. So far the ones that have caught my attention are Fister, Fasbspeed, Cargaphics, and the Tubi exhausts.

Any recommendation? Anybody in the Bay Area that has any of these exhausts that's headed to a car meet?

Thanks!

I don't have many pictures of the new car yet, but here's one!

i had gundo'd stock cans, cargraphics, afterhours and tubi on my '05 997S - most with fabspeed 200 cell cats - and the tubis were the best sound by far. i had the sport cargraphics and they were too quiet. afterhours - insanely loud. gundos sounded good for what they were - the 'low cost' option.

that car is now gone and i have 200 cell cats and Fister IIIs on my 993 C4S and they sound awesome. if i were to make a suggestion based on having fisters now, i say go with Darin and Fisters. that said, i never had them on a 997, but they have to sound about as good as that car can with his mufflers. 200 cell cats make all the difference in the world, though. if you're not currently considering cats, do so.

Thanks for the info guys! Sorry about the newbie error in posting in the wrong forum. I've started a new thread over on rennlist as it seems the 997 forum is more active over there.

I'm considering 200 cell cats as well. While I do want more sound I want to be careful not to turn it into something that's overly aggressive. Did you feel like the 200 cell cats were still good balance between quite under low load/low throttle acceleration and cruising and loader during hard acceleration?

this is a very subjective matter - what is aggressive to one person is often barely loud enough for another. i fall on the more aggressive side of the range and my 997 was never too loud - except for when i had the 200 cells/afterhours combo on the car. it sounded like a full race car (amazing) on the highway, under acceleration, but was way too loud in the low range. the Tubis/200s was very nice, but could easily have been louder. my current 993 set up is even more aggressive and i love it. if you can, find some local owners with a variety of setups and see if you can't listen to a few in person.
