Euromeister Fuchs Replicas - Feedback?

I currently have a set of 951 16" 7/8 Fuchs on my 944 and wanted to poll the forum regarding 17" Euromeister Fuchs replicas. I was considering selling the 16's I have and upsizing to these as I want to keep the Fuchs styling. Has anyone had good or bad experiences with these? Not planning on tracking them but regular street use anticipated.

Any input appreciated.

I have these. I really like the look, the quality is pretty good, obviousley not Fuch quality, but for the price, well worth it. I did have a hard time balancing two of them, one required a lot of weight, the other turned out to be a bad tire. Once sorted though, I really like them. Like you said, probably not strong enough for track use, but for spirited road use, no problem. Not to mention tire availability in teh 17 is vast. Would I buy them again, definitely

As an alternative, I am very happy with my Rota (Linea Corse) Fuchs. $1399 delivered for RSR finish. 17x7.5/9

Cool 17" Euro vs Rota

I have had both (911sc), I like the Euro vs. the Rota when it comes to the look of the front rims; the Rota's have a inner lip that I didn't like and in general I feel was a heavy rim. Not a big issue on the street and or a positive if you hitting pole holes after the rains/winter. I owned a couple of sets of Euro (16/17" 7&9") most as an autocross or rally event wheel to save my good wheels from possible damage on the back roads of CA. I didn't like the Rota after having them on the car for a period of time, not issues just didn't like them. I still have a 16" set of Euro's for autocross w/R888's; but have gone back to built up 17"rims with Fuchs centers with 17" BBS hubs; "I feel" these look best and are much lighter weight than both the others.
Only my two cents, but I hope it helps; I have photo's of each on the car.

For what it's worth, I've got the 17" Rotas in RSR finish and I'm very happy with the quality and look. Here's a pic before I mounted them.

I was thinking about the Euromeisters as well, but they don't make an RSR finish, and my colleague has been doing track days on the Rotas for years without issue.

Here is a pic of the Rotas. Agree w/ what was said about the fronts. The lip is not the issue - its the centers that are raised at where they meet the lips. It looks a bit funky but its hard to notice unless you are looking closely. I will note that these 'clear my '78 Turbo calipers with big fins - no exp w/ the Euromeisters tho.

I've been happy with the 16X8's I have on the rear of mine. They were definetely harder to strip than original fuchs to do a semi-polish. The clearcoat they use was really tough!!

First Fuchs 7&9x16 {all my rims are 7/7.5 and 9" 16 or 17"}

Next SC with 16" Euro> I like the look, but you can't order them in RSR

Next Update SC with 17" Fuchs/BBS's

Euro at autocross settings

Next 17" Rota's RSR

Finally RUF's 17" 7.5 and 9's

ive been hitting the DEs for the past 3 years on 16x8 Euromeisters without issue. i run 245s Toyo RA1 tires...so far so good. durable, but heavy. I would not hesitate to use these on the street. fair price and they look good...

woeful experience with the rotas, the euromeisters seem to be lighter and a bit better built. either would be fine for the street (maybe for track too but i personally would not use them on my own car for the track).

I'm using 225/45-17 on the fronts and 255/40-17 in the rear, the tires are perfect for those wheel sizes and have an overall diameter of 25". I've got them on my wide body with 1.5" and 2" spacers respectively.

They fit on my RS clone as well with no spacers, but because the front fender is 2" smaller in diameter than the wide body, I would need a lower profile front tire to make it look right. The overall diameter of the tires on my RS clone are 23" in front and 24.5" in rear.

I've been using mine for 31 autocrosses, a few track laps, and maybe 5k street miles so far, and I've been happy with them. I've kept my OE Fuchs for when the car goes to the next caretaker, though.
