Door lock issue(oddness?)
 

Situation is basically this:

I have an ''85 3.2 coupe with the electronic central locking. Both the center switch and internal lock knobs work as designed. The passenger side door handle key slot can both unlock and lock both doors. The driver's side however can only unlock, it is incapable of locking both doors.

Thoughts?

Sounds like a failing micro switch on the drivers side. Been there. Do a search on Door micro switch and you´ll find loads of info.

Perfect, that sounds exactly like my problem. I do wish I had remembered to do this before my massive door overhaul last Monday, but at least I'm familiar with it. :rolleyes:
