I guess it could depend of the color of the car.
In my case the car is white with black trim so black definitely looks better than my Cup wheels... Before: ![]() After ![]() [/

It would look great with a polished T bar...

Not much of a close up, but it compares the polished to the (Weidman) RSR finish on my car. An RSR finish is not painted on, except for the black. As I understand, they are media blasted to a rough, white metal state and then anodized. The edge of the lip is polished before anodizing.

FWIW, I can't decide either. I have one set of RSR finished centers and one set of OEM black centers.

World is full of blingy chrome wheels. Classic look, black center / anodized rim is the only way to go.

Black or polished Fuchs petals - your thoughts?
I like the polished look, albeit with some nice gentle patina to show off the petals. A lil wabi sabi works great with my big butt '84! Here's mine up close:

I plasti-dipped mine white so I can't comment but if I were to I'd say I prefer the look of the silver anodized petals and rim.

Thanks for posting. I've debated about how the RSR look would look on my '74 but I think the plain anodized would be best for me.

Sweet... If this is what you're referring to, then I agree. They'd look fantastic on that car!

Wow - I came home to see ~30 uhh,... definitive posts. Seriously, I really appreciate it, and must confess that I am not a fan of the all black, on this (my) car anyway. I leaning towards the beauts that Arne posted. And JJ your car looks awesome, and I don't want to touch the Targa bar (yet). Many thanks for the ideas!
