Close Call!!

Ten minutes ago, I'm commuting home in my little 911 ... some imbecile in a blue Prius cuts across my lane abruptly; I brake hard and manage to avoid T-boning him (her). Cloud of tire smoke, not enough time to even honk.

I'm thankful for those great brakes of ours! Also I enjoy the car so much I'm at 100% vigilance at all times. Yay little car!!!

Having second thoughts about those fiberglass bumpers I covet.

Good driving on your part, saving another 911 from an untimely demise!

Cheers!

Great brake check. Glad you and the car came though in one piece and can drive another day.

I'm getting good at avoiding the stoners here by covering the brake with left foot. Also I drive with lights on during the day at times. Perilous times.

The binders on these cars are awe inspiring indeed. I just picked mine up and I find myself berthing out other drivers/vehicles

Sorry to the Prius owners/drivers here but...... Most Prius drivers I encounter are the worst!!! I think they feel that they have something to prove, (them & minivans). It starts with a "P" but it's NOT a P-car!

Of course the person drove away and i would have had a hard time recouping a grand in tires anyway .. " my car is damaged coz i missed you"

Yeah, my car had been in paint jail for 4 months and I really missed driving it. I was pushing it.

Again it was more of testament to the handling of these cars. As soon as it started to slide all the car needed was a little correction and it was right back on track. Through the gas pedal, steering wheel and the seats, I could feel exactly what the car was doing. I actually caused the slide I was amazed at the grip the car had during the turn and wanted to see if it could handle more. The car was letting me know what the limit was when I was approaching it and taking a little bit off the wheel was all it needed.

But you'll be able to stop even quicker with them!

Let the re-coveting begin.

In my NE Seattle neighborhoods the streets are infested with pencil-necked hipster prius drivers with their noses stuck to their stupid iphones! Usually driving 15 mph in a 35 zone, except when they dart in front of me without warning!

I say this all the time!

I thought I was losing it.....

Prius = entitlement issues for driving a green car?

Mini Van = Frustrated former sports car owner dad's?

Wait, maybe I am losing it. I am extra cautious around BOTH of these vehicles.
