Reliable & Reasonable Shop near Peoria, Illinois

Anyone know of a good shop anywhere near Peoria, Illinois - give or take a 100 miles or so?

Specifically, I am looking for someone to complete a rebuild on a 1978 911SC Targa. The engine and trans are already done, but I now need someone to complete the job. That includes, going over the suspension and repainting the exterior, some interior work, etc.

Ideally, an independent might be best as I have a limited budget and do not want to get killed with a high end shop. Just want someone who is reliable and does good work they are willing to stand behind.

Any help or suggestions from my fellow Pelicans is greatly appreciated.

Brad Mayeur at 914Ltd in E. Peoria is your best bet by far. Though he and Mike are both 914 gurus, they are great with 911s as well, and can tackle just about any job you need done. You can reach them at 309-694-1797.

Lot's of great folks up here in Chicagoland, but much more expensive.
