Thanks for posting that video

At the 5:56 mark they mention spring clips that can be added to the targa top clips for additional holding force to eliminate rattling noise. Video says the can be added to older models.
Anyone have a part number or link to those spring clips?

thanks

It's called a CLAMP on the katalog 911 565 263 00 & 911 565 263 01.

I tried these but they failed, instead I used 1/4" felt stick on pads

I have seen the hold down clips get worn over time, my solution is a zip tie over the clip and the front bar. Holds everything in place pretty well. I never fold mine. Goal is to have Dan P rebuild and cover the top next year...

Note that, while the (German) audio plays fine for me while using the excellent VLC media player, I get no audio playing this in QuickTime on my Mac -- Understand there's a similar issue with windows media player.
UPDATED -- the 12 page Porsche Service School Targa Roof Repairs manual and the 25 page Sealing of 911 Information Technik have both been added to the link above. LMK if it no longer works. Thanks to 7783911 for these docs

Thanks Darrin. Fingers crossed we won’t have any of these resources disappear again…
