Will a 87 carrera bumper fit a 1980sc

My car came with an RS front bumper and I wanted to put it back to stock. Found a 87 bumper will it fit properly on a 1980sc thanks.

the 87 valence have recessed fog lights.so it will look different.but it should fit.

Yes, but as was noted the fogs on the '87 are recessed while the SC fog's were proud

the If you use the '87 fogs the washer bottle will also need to be changed as the bottle on the '80 will interfere w/ the recessed fogs

Although not 'original', I've got a carrera front valence on my '81 SC and aesthetically it's a big improvement IMO.

Plus you will get enhanced cooling with the 87 bumper

He originally posted "bumper" not "valance". Not sure exactly what he has.

The Carrera bumper will have the passenger underside bent upward to allow more air back to the Carrera cooler.

Make 100% sure it's from a Carrera and not a Turbo - they look the same and only a pro or a measuring tape can tell the difference...
