I don't read anything but English but isn't that price "per seat"??

$980 + shipping is for a pair. Their prices are listed per seat in Euros - you need to deduct the 19% tax if you're outside the EU. I should mention that the price I quoted was for a pair with "leatherette/basketweave" upholstery.

I may have the same one on the driver's side. Since you are local you you'd be welcome to check it out. I am not confident in the specific brand of mine, (bought used), but it's probably similar enough. I only changed out the basket weave centers for the plaid. Email me and we can set it up.

Since we're talking about seats made in Torino, anyone have an opinion on BF vs. D'eser? I'm thinking about going down there to do some test-sitting, but I'll only have time to visit one or the other.

Anyone have any experience with the Nurburgring R seats? http://shop.bf-torino.com/bf-autositze/nurburgring-r/nurburgring-b12r-leatherette-basket-weave-black.html
I still need access to my back seat for the family. They would be going into a 1976 911S Targa. |

I believe my set is slightly different to their current style as mine have a nice piping detail on the side bolsters. |

Question about the ST seats: can you use the stock inertia belts with them? Or do the bolsters not allow them to sit snug over your hips?

Hmm I was going to do the same.
Seems a trend with the seat makers. I asked for specific info to Historika on seats but zero reply....

I found the Nurburgring seats and similar seats didn't offer any lateral support. Useless in normal driving for me. Tried various ST and Rallye seats, some were uncomfortable in the upper back area. Side support was fine. I found that you need more of the lateral support down low; the raised sides don't offer much additional support.
Since you are in Southern Cal, drive up to LA and visit Dave at TRE. He should have a fair number of seats to sit in and I would suggest sitting in anything you intend to buy. Not sure your price expectation is realistic. Those Nurburgring seats are cheap and nothing I looked at was even close to that. If that's your prime criteria, your decision made be already made. JR |

Don't know if it's related to the recent posts but I did receive a response. My question was exactly answered, but I did want to note that I did receive a response.

I agree about sitting in whatever you end up buying first. I sat in quite a few seats that looked great but I wouldn't have been happy with if I had gotten them based on looks before I finally purchased a pair.

Rally St great for taller people, but for smaller too?
This is an old thread but was very helpful when choosing the right seat for me. Tried the Nurnburgring seat, found it a little "small" and not enough lateral support, tried the Nurnburgring R (reclinable) but felt small (a little better on the lateral support), but decided to jump for the Rally ST.
Order 1 to try (I'm in Europe), tried it, watched tv in it all evening and ordered a second one + fittings the next day. Very pleased with this seat. I'm 1,92 (6"3) and 92kg so not the shortest guy. My wife however is not so tall (1,72m - 5"7) and she somewhat complained that top - back of her arms rest on the the lateral supports (as they are quit high). Moving her arms over the lateral supports outward from the seat, would decrease the pressure points on her arms. She was unsure how this would be on longer trips. We'll see. I'll update this post in spring after a few longer trips. Kr Filip. ps: I particularly like the basket weave option (feels soft, not plastic or vinyl - feel to it at all) |

I was also intersted to buying BF Torino seats and found a dealer where I could test "LeMans" and "Nurnburgring" .
They felt not that comfortable as I would have expected. |
