gerry -- how's the top look after applying 303? One of the things I like about vinylex is that it doesn't make the top too shiny/greasy -- same with 303? Am running low on vinylex and may need to try?

All of these companies do analysis on someone else's product, then add some 'special' proprietary ingredient that makes it new and/or improved and market it. Except Back to Black. Never heard of anything else like it. Even Armour All has a lot of other stuff out there to compete in the car care world.

Good info. Thank you. I did qualify the vaseline suggestion but thought Armor All would be as safe as anything.

303 does give the top a bit of shine, but, in my opinion, not excessive.

Used a lot by boat owners.

Best,

Gerry

^^ This. 303 gives a very slight satin type shine. Definitely not glossy. 303 has no petroleum or silicone in it. I am a huge fan of the stuff. Started using it on the vinyl of my boat and now use it on rubber trim and vinyl interior and exterior parts of the car as well.

I tried a number of the products that were mentioned in this thread, however the best was Lexol Vinylex.
