69 911 smugglers box

Hey guys, I just bought a 69 911 t targa and in the smugglers box there is a large red bell. Anyone know what this would be. I thought maybe an old school car alarm or something. Mainly wonder if it's factory or not as car is going back completely original. Thanks.

I've run across several of those over the years. Horns, bells, etc. Crude early car alarms (as opposed to the crude late car alarms!). Never have seen one that I thought was a factory job. Toss it.

Thanks. I didn't figure it was factory but this is my first classic porsche and wanted to double check.
