Donagain,
Just curious, if you installed the entire assembly with the inter-linking cables attached, how did you thread the front cable between the brake booster and the brake fluid reservoir lines to the master cylinder (see photo #5 in my thread below)? Was your cable routed differently than mine, or did you detach the reservoir? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/8128542-post76.html

Frank, I routed mine pretty much the way yours is in that photo. Detaching the master cylinder did NOT seem like anything I wanted to do. It was easy to snake the cable(s) around and through where they needed to go with the ends disconnected from the passenger side box. As I said, I assembled everything on the bench, synched the two flappers, and tightened the nuts securing the cable core where the needed to be. One less adjustment task that needed to be done with it in the car. Then, I removed the clip and disconnected the cable from the passenger's box, in order to install the driver's box with the cables loose. Then it was nothing to reinstall the cables and clips on the passenger side prior to slipping it in and securing everything.

That's awesome. Massive satisfaction of a job well done. You've documented the best strategy here too. Assembling on the bench. If I ever dive into this again I'll do that.

One last entry before putting the thread to bed. The malfunctioning windshield wipers (the reason why I hesitated to reinstall the blower housing until I repaired the problem) turned out to not have anything to do with the relay beneath the blower, but rather the stalk switch. I'll start a separate thread on this.
