Everything is really close up there, so it doesn't really matter. We'll be going into SF for one of those nights, so we could meet on Tues or Thurs downtown in that district near the GG bridge that has all of the Italian restaurants. I love the tortellini alredo at the Mona Lisa (I think that's what it's called)...

Lots of suggestions given. Sounds like time for Wayne to pick a day, time, and place and then come who will.

Count me in. I live smack dab in between San Francisco and San Jose. We could all meet at some place like the new Carlson Porsche, and then take off from there (just a thought).
Wayne, if you are looking for good North Beach food with a cool environment, there is: ** Cafe Viva Fine Food - a hole in the wall around the corner from the condor club (carol doda) - http://www.sfnorthbeach.com/viva.html ** The Stinking Rose - Great Garlicy Italian Food - http://www.sfnorthbeach.com/stcl/tsrmenu.html ** Mama's on Washington Square - I used to work there as a chef - great breakfasts |

Parking in Downtown Sunnyvale is quite a bit worse than it has been on other occasions. There's a lot of construction in the area, and they have blocked off or torn up a fair bit of parking. You can park over at Macy's, though.
Though I'm just about ready to declare it to be Wednesday in Mountain View, in the absence of real objections. --DD

Wayne,
There's an ideal place in Pruneyard shopping center in Campbell, close to Jerry Woods' shop. Next to Pruneyard shopping center, there is a so called Twin Towers office building. After 5 p.m., their parking lot will be quite vacant. Crossing one road that divides twin tower and Pruneyard, there is Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery. We can all park in the tower lot and drink in the bar. I'll get all info if we decide on this site. |

Sounds good to me. Forgot about the tower parking!

Hey when a final decision is made let me know. I am there if it is on the weekend. I will be taking Bruce's Tune up class Saturday.

Mountain View generally has better parking than the Pruneyard or downtown Sunnyvale. So it's going to wind up being the Tied House. That place has worked out well for us in the past (with 914 groups)...
