No business is perfect. Pelican has always been great to deal with even if mistakes have been made. Whether those mistakes have been mine or Pelican's. I am in CA so I get to pay sales tax but I often get parts orders next day because I am so close to the warehouse.
I don't buy from Pelican all the time but I will continue to buy from them when it makes sense to me. The Pelican forum is in place for one reason: to make Wayne money. Anyone that does not get that is fooling themselves. Pelican should not get special treatment because it is their forum.
