Turkey Run II Video is Here!

I have finally decided to expose this “RGruppe” for what it really is! Here is a secret video from their latest Paganistic gathering. I don’t even want to go into what happen to me when I was discovered. Lets just say that for the last week or so I’ve been “busy at work” and “have had computer problems at home.”

High Quality - 7.7 Meg

Low Quality - 2.3 Meg

High Quality to different music- 7.5 Meg

Are you up to a GB yet Todd?

Quote:
Oops, not working. Todd, can you help me out?
Nevermind! It should be working fine.

Nice choice of Primus' "Jerry was a racecar driver" for the music!

Think I'll dig out some old Primus CD's now.. (A CD is like a small LP for you older guys... )

Cool vid Doctor Ryan.....brought back a LOT of memories. I used to work as a bartender there back in the early 80s. My Dad had the food concession at the local ski area up the road.

I pretty much grew up on the Angeles Crest Highway.....worked at the 76 gas station at the bottom of the hill, Newcomb's Ranch is where I met my first girlfriend, crashed my first hot rod up there when the nose cone weld on the trans let go on my Karman Ghia, with a 2180 Gene Berg motor......

The trans and motor got side ways, spinning the car and I rolled it....thank God it was a hard top.....

I know every corner on that road....surprised the CHP was not out in force. They patrol that road very heavily.

...nice choice of music

I'm going to dig out "Pork Soda" from my attic...

P.S. I remember seeing Primus playing "My name is Mud" at Roskilde-festival while covered in mud...

Or maybe a drive is in order.

Thumbs up

Hey Ho Dr. Ryan........!!!

Very cool video !! Must have been kinda hard to shoot that and hang with the pack.

H'ver I notice that this is on the way back down and there isn't any footage of "the turn-off" where we all went into the classic RGruppe "hi-speed wolf pack" mode. Now that was a FUN stretch....

But this is an excellent recap of the day....

Mucho gracias amigo !!!!

Hey Doc,
I was in front of you in the first road shot. If I knew you were splitting time between driving and shooting video I would have let you pass. How's your depth perception with one eye? Apparently well enough to keep up.

Nice job though and for being a good sport for taking all the good natured ribbing.

I wasn’t too proud of the footage on the way up. That shot of Sherwood was the best shot until we were almost to the top. Mostly the way up consisted of sky and trees w/ the occasional ¼ second flash of Sherwood.

I got better on the way down but I have to admit that on the sidetrack we took, about the second turn was when I decided that I could either keep up or film nothing but road in front of me. I through the camera in the passenger seat and just drove ‘til we got back on the Angeles Crest Hwy. That was a fun road!

It's been a decade, Ryan. Do you still have this video? Can you repost for nostalgia's sake? It'd be great to see this thing again ten years on.
