Am I missing a vacuum tube?

Good Day, this picture is from behind my throttle body. Center top of picture, is there a hose missing from the top sleeve? Or is this a normal picture?

Thanks, Dave

Hi Dave, yes, there should be a cloth covered vac line to the Air valve over near the Oil tank.

Vacuum Tube

Thought this post was going to be about a 50's television set or radio.

no problem Dave - BTW on the Vacuum decal picture (yours may be on your engine lid), I drew in the cruise control.

It too has a similar vac line vented to ambient air - with similar or same diameter. It may be tucked near firewall, so don't get confused (bad word) with that one, as it will appear loose and available (bad phrase). :-)

I did take a good look before I posted. Will give it a go over again tommorow. I did not see anything missing from the oil tank vents. Hot coffee and a mirror I guess......thanks for the picture.

Here is a pic of where the cloth covered line goes, as explained by Steely...

My engine is out of the car and the rubber hose at the left of the valve that appears to go to the spark plug is actually loose but will connect to to the oil tank when the engine is in the car
