Guy at work took my old floor vents and modeled some new ones to get air on me for our trip to Rennsport. This weekend drove in heat and they worked good... $1 of 3D printing material at most!!

Nice build. Here is my 72 targa that was forward dated before I bought it. It has a 3.2 euro (fully rebuilt and tuned) in it and I've done extensive work on it, including MA Shaw RS bumpers and duck tail, RSR Rota Foxes and numerous suspension upgrades.

I am honored to be on the list of top DIY builds voting:
Please vote for my Turbo Build if you like the DIY journey I have been on, no one but me works on anything with this car, its seen cross country travel and is a constant test mule for DIY work

It started as a horrible 1980's design, stuck on a lift for 20 years that my dad and I transformed over 18 months to be an all out Turbo 911 Outlaw, fully DIY build.

VOTE HERE: "1972 911T with '86 Turbo Project"

It’s been a while, I’ve been spending so much time building Achtung Kraft that my personal cars have had to take a back burner to parts, client builds and events… but due to a mishap on the way home from our rallye last year the 72 is going back to her former longhood glory… needs to be ready for our June event, so lots to do between client work and part launches.

Finally able to use all the parts I’ve collected to put it back to longhood…

Dang!!! That sucks, but sucky situations can bring new opportunities!

And BTW, Chris B is watching. He said he could repaint the whole car, rebuild the engine, install all new suspension, and still have time for shakedown before Ruchlos is here - easy peasy. He said it. I heard him.

I agree, like Chris I like to bite off a lot before a big trip…

1) bring back to longhood
2) New Front GTV Alfa calipers
3) design and install a new Achtung Kraft active turbo exhaust
4) new AK custom lights (fender/tails)
5) install new AK door pockets
6) new theme and graphics

That's about the only way I get anything done--give myself a non-changeable deadline, then I HAVE to do it!

I just received a set of your aluminum RS door panel pull guides that are going in my 86 Turbo. They look great!
I've been off of the forum for awhile and didn't know about this project or that anyone from your company was here.
Thanks for making cusom parts to make sure folks like me always have something to buy lol.
Have you considered making a power window switch plate/mount?
I've never liked the way the switches mount when you convert to RS door panels and have looked for something like that without luck.
I have a sheet of carbon fiber that I've made a few things out of and keep thinking about cutting it up to make some from.
A set made from black anodized aluminum would look even better and match everything else. Possible market opportunity for you!!
I have some of Danny's drilled Ti handles, Rennline door locks, Achtung Kraft (your) door pull guides, and hand made stitched leather pull straps that match the burgundy interior.
Everything looks great but my eyes keep going to those dang window switches lol.

Thanks for your support, we have been so busy, its hard to post here too. We have done some custom switches that screw in from the back, and look stock for client builds, they are CNC'd out of aluminum and we mainly have done it to get polished trim for them and to mount them solid.

That's what I'm talking about! You never know unless you throw it out there.
P.m. me or your welcome to discuss here if you'd be interested in making another set in either black or raw finish and I could powder coat.
That would be a great finishing touch that I'm looking for.
Thank you

So the past two months prepping for Ruchlos have been crazy busy on many fronts. Lost my farher-in-law after a 6 month health battle, crazy busy in the shop with client work and i crazily decided to finally fix the turbo from last years accident… decided to bring it back to longhood so the work needed was pretty intense….

Here are some progress pictures between april and may, lots of help from my 78 year old dad, otherwise it would have never been done!
