Zenith Carb Manual Sought.....
I only have the owners manual and some other articles that mention how to tune the Zeniths. Most books talk about the Webers. Does anyone have a good article I can have (buy?) a copy of. I want to know what the auxillary mixture thingy does, and how to adjust it if required and also how to set the screw that makes contact with the solenoid. This info is not covered in the owners manual. Perhaps the factory shop manual? Anyone with one that can provide a copy? I will gladly pay for shipping and copying fee and a nice cup of coffee for your time.

The auxillary mixture thingy is an early emission control device that is supposed to dump fuel into the motor when you decelerate. The best thing to do is pull the wire off the solenoid, close the (3) mixture jets and the air mixture screw and forget about it. I can send you the info out of the factory manual and some other that I have if you need it.
