Haven't posted for 8 years... Ultimate Garage Queen!

I used to post on this forum a lot, but life got in the way. I think I have made a big mistake with my 911.

In 2003 I bought a low mile true 930 Targa, only problem is I was in Saudi Arabia as an AirForce Pilot and I am from Australia. It is a terrific and rare 930 turbo so I had it shipped to Australia and converted to Right Hand Drive so I could drive it on the roads there.... but I went back to the Middle East, my future is in Dubai as an Airline Pilot.

8 Years later my 911 is still sitting in my garage in Australia and I am faced with a dilemma.. sell it in Australia (for cheap) or ship it back to the Middle East and have it converted back so I can drive it here.

My preference is to bring it back and have it "Un-Molested", but I need to find donor parts.

any input on this no matter how abusive is welcome

Why did it and does it need to be converted?
BTW It's value has increased so much in 13 years you can't lose.

Awesome car!

Look in the classifieds for parts to convert back. I probably have some of what you need.

If looking for a hand or advise in Port Macquarie, look up "fishcop" on this forum. He recently moved there from Brizzy......If you sell, you can find plenty of buyers in AU, I'm sure..........Good luck.

Even if legal, not fun to drive a left hand car in a right hand country or vice versa.

Another vote to For Sure Keep it. You will never get over it if you sell. Trust us here.
Just read the shoulda-never-sold-that-one stories all over this forum.

930 targa, keep it! This is a great look, don't make a decision you are sure to regret.

Can you have the same shop in Australia convert it back? If they are still in business, they may have a few parts left over from yours and other conversions...

BTW, just thinking of this, what do you really need, just the dashboard and the metal behind it? And I guess a few of the HVAC parts? Wait does this mean they moved the smugglers box over - wow maybe a lot more is involved than I thought.

Welcome back! I vote you keep it. It sure is a beauty and looks to be in very good shape. You don't want to sell it and then look back at it a few years in the future and wish you never did. I see that too often here on the forum where people say they should have never sold one of their beloved P cars. But then again, I'm also the type that gets very attached to my vehicles, hah! Do you have anymore pictures of her?

Here's what you missed:
Milt is gone - except for an occasional 'howdy' in a carpentry/woodworking post over in OT.
