My 914-6 gt Tribute. Note the pull for the mechanical headlights and fuel gauge in the radio slot. I modified the column to move the ignition key to the “proper” location.

I like, but I am somewhat biased.

Very early 911s could be ordered with "Ferrari seats" from the "Sports purpose" catalog , they looked just like Speedster seats except the seat pad was extended an inch or so and bent down. I had one for a while but sold it to someone who was restoring a factory race car that was optioned with it. They are Uber rare, but technically correct. One recently sold on BAT.
The shell is the same, a talented upholsterer could duplicate the look.

Overhauling interior. New headliner, carpet, seat upholstery.

Should I be happy with the seats?

I’m not sure if he used a steamer to shrink the ripples.

Hello! Here’s my setup. I drive a ton (events, AX, etc) and so bias towards practicality. A few things (seats, carpets) by the PO and the rest is my work over the last two years.

Restored factory Sports Seats, Carbone RS door cards, velour carpet (about 13 years old), original dash, Carbone glass lenses & gauge bezels, the ever-popular Momo Prototipo, Classic Motorshop cup holder (magnetic in the seat rail), Numeric Racing shifter. Comfy place to be over the last 20k miles / 2 years. Probably some things I’m missing here.

Don’t mind the coolant: rescuing a friend with a 996 on a rally.

I’m about 90% done on my re-carpet, headliner, A and B Pilar re-cover, dashboard job, console.

I just figured out the storage bracket for the rear outside belts. The tang clips into the fitting on the interior panel. For the longest time I thought it was a vent.

black hole to tan n black

Past couple winters working on this one. Initial idea was cognac n black similar to many BMW's I've seen that morphed into perforated tan found at a local Salt Lake fabric store (labeled as Ferrari Tan) run by porsche/motorcycle buffs. Practiced on the door panels and moved forward with the seat redo by local craftsman. Pretty happy with the results. Not perfect by any means and I need to sit in a few perfect examples to check the feel as my thought is an extra 1/2 to 3/4" of padding was added to the center section and now you sit a little too high. And posssibly the center panels sit too proud. Not sure if this is true but the upholsterer has said he'll make it right no matter what it takes

Next phase is to add some tan to the dash and a four spoke hockey puck wheel with the possiblity of a tan wheel skin wrap. Rear seat backs are gone and I'll redo the rear seat cushions in perforated tan also

All because this forum and the posters here have given me the courage to get busy, make it my own, and try things I've never done before. Pelican rocks

^^^ very nice Fleetwood. Sure brightens up the interior. Might consider some tan on the dash as balance…..either the inserts or the knee pads???
Cheers,
Johan

Sorry, been forever…. Custom done as we found the fabric in Germany and had Autos International incorporate it.

Hello! Got this 1980 SC Targa about a year ago. Did some refreshing in the interior and added a Rennshift shifter since this picture was taken.
