Can someone tell me why the heater connection is different?
I was curious, did Porsche change something between the Carrera 3.0 and Carrera 3.2 on the left side heater hose in the pics below?
Can someone confirm... did Porsche move them? (The 3.0 pic shows the hose towards the outside, while the 3.2 shows the hose connection closer to the inside) ![]() ![]()

The 3.2s have an electric fan in the duct blowing air into the heat exchangers that the 3.0s don't, so I imagine that's the difference. The air source from the engine fan was originally drawn from both sides of the shroud, but eventually morphed to just coming off the driver's side.

Brauin fart! Forgot what was on the 2.7 vs 3.0 vs 3.2, but obviously the positioning of the heat duct changed, and is probably different on the Turbo as well. Old age has it's drawbacks, but beats the alternative!
