Engine mounts

Hi, 1976 911targa with 2.7l.

Are the engine mounts at the back (engine bay) and at the transmission area the same?

Thank you.

Yes, these are the same. Buy quality replacements - the cheap mounts don't last long.

And if you're looking to stiffen things up, go stiffer on the engine mounts and one step softer on the transmission mounts -- if you want to minimize engine noise in the cabin.

Yes, just did them on my car- wish the Pelican catalog just stated that they are the same, part numbers were identical, but made it confusing for ordering.

Very simple as well, support bottom of engine, remove large bolts, washers and nuts. Remove the two small nuts and bolts, remove mounts and reinstall the new ones.
