PPF and what did you cover

My 87 guards red coupe is currently at the detailer getting paint correction done before having Suntek PPF Ultra installed. I intend to have the whole body wrapped but am curious for those that have had this done, what was wrapped and where did they leave edges exposed.

I’m trying to figure out how far I want to take this. The large items like hood, doors, trunk, roof, mirrors, etc will be fully wrapped around. I have the detailer removing the front and rear badging to aid in paint correction and a clean canvas for the film. I’ll have the shop remove front and rear lights. At this point I thinking of just having them butt the film up against the mirrors and window edges. Has anyone gone further by removing mirrors, side door trim and/or bumpers? What about windshield?

Really curious what you’ve done, how it turned out and what you might do differently next time.

Is your paint original and single stage? If yes, i would be leery about covering it with film.
