Brembo GT kit and Euromeister's
I tried searching and couldn't find anything on this, but does anyone know if Euromeister 17" wheels will clear the Brembo GT kit? I have the 17x7 ET 23.3 offset on front and 17x9 ET 15 offset on rear.
I asked my friend at Brembo and she didn't know without measuring the wheels. Before I drag them out and measure them, I figured I would check here. Specs on the brakes are below. ![]() ![]() Thanks in advance!

B,
I am using the 17" euros with Rebel Racings Brembo (ONE PIECE ROTOR)GT kit(front and Rear) . The radial clearance of the front wheel I.D. to the GT caliper O.D. is tight ,less than 5MM from the wheel balance wts. To compensate for this AND the close clearance of the inside wheel face to the face of the caliper , I added a 2mm wheel spacer on the front hubs .I use the Euro's for the 86 Carrera-street duty only. i do not know if the capipers brembo is now using for their two piece rotor GT kits are the same.My rotors are 28mm wide, so I suspect that the 32 mm GT rotor/caliper kits may not fit behind the Euromisters.

Thanks betterair.....I think I had read somewhere that you had to run 5mm spacers to clear the brakes, but I can't remember for certain, and I can't remember if it was front and rear.
And of course I can't find that thread anywhere anymore!!

I have 930 calipers (Brembo) and use Rebel S Rasing hats with Zimmerman rotors. I use a 4mm factory wheel spacer to clear the original 16J6 Fuchs wheel. Would be able to run 15 wheels if I did t also have raised spindles.

B ,
Fronts were the only Issue with clearance. I bought both 2mm and 5 mm spacers. Now Ill have to pull a wheel and double check which ones I used.

Better, look for rotors for a '78 930 on a parts g e e k site. They have the Sebro and the Zimmerman you need. Rebel now has the Coleman T-LOCKS you need for the 12 slot floating rotors.

Wow, Pelican has drastically reduced their price on the Sebro rotors. |
