Rebel racing front bushings

Planning to buy a set. Pros and Cons ?

I've use Clints front bushings on 2 cars. The only downside for me has been contacting Clint. Otherwise his products are top notch!

I'm right there with you 911 slant.

My front suspension is presently dismantled and I'm leaning towards the Rebel products. I've been reading all the threads on suspension rebuilds and vacillating between the Elephant rubber or the Rebel product.

The Elephant rubber appeals to me due to keeping it near stock, less harshness, and potential ease getting it back together. (My car was damaged by a prior owner and been repaired. I'm concerned it may have some "tweak" in the front end)

The Rebel product is more precise and from what I've read offers more compliance. Do it once and forget about it? I hope so but in dismantling the my suspension I've found road grime everywhere and I'm concerned how the rebel product's interface between the pivoting suspension points will withstand the elements and time.

When I removed the factory bushings, the rubber was still pliable but had definitely taken a set. Hence, the Elephant product will eventually also need to be replaced.

(by the way, the correct name is Delrin, a trademarked name like Teflon. Generic it would be acetal or POM (polyoxymethlyene)) The Rebel bushings are not Delrin either.

Running front and rears here! Happy customer Placed the order online and they showed up a week later.. didn't bother calling, but have heard he is difficult to get a hold of. Not in my case though!

get the ER sphericals. No support issues and probably even a better product

I'm running ER Sphericals up front, and Rebels in the rear. I have about 1500 miles on this setup, and I'm very happy with the result so far.

Rebels front(w/conical washers) and rear for over a year, no issues.

Cons: IF you have a G50 with the longer rear torsion bar spring plate "tubes", you MAY have to remove some material on the tube in order for the race to slide over the entire tube to where it comes to final position against the spring plate. My spring plates with the torsion tube had to be put on a lathe and disc sanded down a hair. The micrometer showed that the torsion tubes were a hair larger in the middle then at the ends where the race fits perfectly.
