Cabriolet/Targa Latch Handle
I'm a Capitalist, I get it: supply, demand, and all that. But is there any other reason that the 911-565-075-41 latch handle sold almost everywhere, including out host, should be priced near $200/per??? Sheesh, $50 bucks seems reasonable, but a couple hundred... dang! I wish I trusted e-Bay, there's a used one on there for a bit over a C-note. Have any of you guys with welding skills attempted to repair one of these things? Any luck???

I’d think a fellow with reasonable machining skills should be able to replicate these. Perhaps not the retaining ring, but at least the basic ears and lever.

The cross pin is usually the only damage. Just need a mini lathe to fab one.

Apologies to our host here, but I found these latch handles available through FVD Brombacher for $54 each plus shipping. Were delivered within a week and a half.
