Filthy and too low? I'm going with stunning. Can't remember what the lbdc looked like before this unveiling. Well done Chris. Apologies for the face I made when you bought the widebody kit. I love how the light flows over those grey curves.

Thank you.
It's come a long way from page 1 of this thread.

Hey Chris, did you have to roll your fenders when you were a narrow boy?

Yes. I did the fronts when the fenders were off in 2018.
IDK that I ever messed with the rears.

Been driving it all week.
I raised the rear a trifle the other day...I may lower it back to a point in the upper-middle.
I'm trying to source some 35mm spacers for the rear to fill out the arches before messing with the ride height too much. Waiting on a quote now.

Drives ok. I haven't beaten on it too hard as there's still loose ends that need nipping.
But I'm glad that it's a bit useful again, even if I can't properly beat on it yet.

Chris, I think I might have a pair of 35mm spacers... they are of the bolt-on variety I believe. I can have a look tomorrow and let you know?

I have bolt on 32s I would give you - zero interest when I tried to sell them and I would rather they are used. Would just need to ship from MN.

Dang that's a lot potential wheel lip !

Do you think your ideal wheel fitment and ride height is more difficult to achieve with the turbo flares compared to the narrower body?

The car is looking better and better each post, thanks for sharing.

No. It’s 100% my fault. I bought lips and barrels of the classifieds here without taking the time to measure. I tried to capitalize on a deal and it didn’t work out.

I will say that 275s look small from behind…and I anticipate that getting worse when I push them out another 1.5” each.

Same retail price on mine, but shipping from MN will slightly quicker and cheaper than my 35's. International shipping has recently become a bit more of a hassle.

I found one this morning in the basement, and suspect there's another at the shop. Somewhere.

I actually got them so I could run a spacesaver spare on the front of the Rot Rod, even with the 40mm raised spindles. I haven't tested that theory in the real world.

If the 32's come up 3mm short of perfection, let me know. In the meantime I'll keep my eyes open for the other one.

What’s the answer, 315s with another 1.5 inches of wheel lip ?

Maybe I missed it somewhere, but how’d you mount the CAN gauge you have in the clock hole? Not sure if that’s a custom made adapter or if there’s something off the shelf you used.

Also did I read right that you had to send that back to get them to update what gets displayed on each page? I’m using a Haltech elite 750 on my car so I could use their gauge and customize it within the tuning software but the way you have it mounted looks great.

Edit: actually looks like that BTI gauge is plug and play with haltech and looks better, so that may be the way to go assuming programming it is easy enough.

There is no programming as the end user. You can request it be set up a certain way, but you're rolling the dice on whether or not Brandon does what you ask.
I really like the idea of my CAN gauge and it's so close to being excellent. But the customer service was horrific and my gauge still does not display what I asked for.
It's an 8/10 product with 0/10 service and support.

My gauge is mounted in an LED oil pressure idiot light that was made by a Pelican. It's a 3D printed clock delete with LED ring and an opening for a 52mm gauge. It utilizes the rubber Porsche clock sleeve to mount in the dash.
Very slick and a 10/10 product.

So I put out my need for some spacers and the Pelican community came through. I got some 32s and some 38s and they both were delivered yesterday. As soon as I got home, I went out to the garage and started swapping spacers about.

25s

38s

25s

38s

Then I rolled it out into the shade of a whole house blocking the sun.

Went for a little jaunty cruise to see if it would rub (it didn't) and then came back for more pictures and fjord-pining.

All nestled in before dinner.

It’s amazing how big of a difference an extra 13mm makes !! That looks great.

Your wheels appear a different color in almost every picture, is there a shot that captures their true color or close to it ?
