Petrolicious: Singer-Esque 993 Build

While not a a 911 (993) base, I think it's worthy to grace our section. The car is beautiful:

Yea, that sound the car makes could never be mistaken for an early year.

Wow.....that was really cool Budda,

The photography is off the charts, I don't speak a word of German but you could tell from his tone that he's in love with that car.....I would be too.

Surprising that it's a 993, can't see it at all, except maybe in the rocker panels.

Thanks,

Scott

Very impressive. Hope it doesn’t give singer any new ideas or else 993 coupes are going to inflate in value even more

Killer car...tough to follow the narrative w/o subtitles.

I’m in awe and love the talents of these folks! Truly a labor of love beautifully fabricated.

Anyone who is not familiar with Petrolicious simply turn on the CLOSED CAPTIONING icon on YouTube for English subtitles. They do this with all of their foreign language videos.

Thanks Hi Fi,

I was watching on my computer at work, I'll watch again when I get home and turn on the subtitles....

...the man who built it?

I expect the transmission is a stock 993 six speed.

Yeah, I saw it yesterday...came up on my YouTube feed. Pretty amazing build. As someone already pointed out, I feel like the rockers are the only external 993 clue.

If it was the first of its kind I'd be blown away, but that he simply made a cheaper version of a Singer leaves me a little under impressed.

He even copied the singer logo on the rear decklid, just changed the words but used the exact same design.

If it was an exercise to build it for himself and enjoy, great. But building a business off of making a slightly cheaper Singer knock-off, all while being arrogant about it being "better," rubbed me the wrong way.
