When we did my 72E 2.4, we had the cylinders bored from 84mm to 85mm and replated to use JE pistons.

They were done by this place, we were very satisfied with their work and they're working great in the car.

I got a set from EBS Racing on an exchange basis, but Millennium Technologies actually does it for them, I think.

2012 Price to bore and replate Nikasil 3.6L to 3.8L was about $900 from EBS
And about $900 for the 12.5:1 CR JE pistons . . .

When we did an engine refresh at 60 racing hours the cylinders still had the cross hatching - new rings and bearings and good to go . . .

Regards,
