Next project up on the reSee build is oil line air intake and exhaust cover panels to serve as protection and cosmetically pleasing to the eye.
Creativity begins to flow and we can draw on influences of projects we have had in the shop over time as well as the internet for research and ideas. So below is a 1959 Porsche 718rsk spyder recently completed at our shop ,and this car was my first stop for idea influences for the 912 reSee build. air intake |

Love the work but isn't the purpose of the elephant ribbed oil lines for cooling? Air cools the lines. Will the covers contain the heat? Keep the updates coming.

i had the same thought. i'm sure ultimately it will keep the car cool, but you're certainly leaving some cooling on the table with that trim piece...
