Soeren,

Forgive me for being cautious, just doing some due diligence. It seems odd to me that this photo was taken in February 2019 at the Bremen Classic Motor Show. And this is your first post since 2011.

It an expensive motor, I'm just a little concerned this might be a hijacked account?

Mark

If it were real, I wonder what it would be worth? Maybe $50K, even more if it went into its original car?

More, much more. “If it were real....” I’m thinking this is a scam.

At least the plane ticket there is small in comparison to the motor cost for security reasons.

@sboesch, I highly recommend you post additional information about yourself, your company and proof of your ownership of the engine. If you do as I have suggested, there will be a swarm of Porsche people interested in your engine, but for now your post has many of the hallmarks of being a fake. I'm not saying your post is fake. Just a few words of encouragement to you to post pixs of the rebuild taking place, notes and history on the engine, etc. Once you have established the above... I think you can get whatever price you want for the engine. Let's start with a build sheet and a receipt for the rebuild. Publish that information and go from there.

Hello again,
here a few Informations as wanted. First of all, sorry for my not perfect english.
My name is Soeren Boesch and I am one of the owner of the Company "Neunelfmotoren Gmbh" in the northern part of Germany. We are specialized in restoring aircooled Porsche engines and transmissions.
I bought the mentioned engine *900172* round about 4 years ago with a large amount of other Porsche parts in the vicinity of the city of Hamburg.
In February 2019 we had an exhibition stand at the Bremen Classic Motorshow. We wanted to present a very special engine at this exhibition stand and in December 2018 we decided to restore the 72th ever build series engine.
