If you are doing a factory setup, you will need to weld support brackets to the chassis. I have a pair of OEM SWB brackets that would fit a 68

I’ll post pictures of what it is. I’ve seen the u-clamp kits that go around the torsion bar but I’m not sure what is needed to attach the drop links.

The u-clamp kits do not require the welded bracket that I have. The brackets I have (901-501-180-20) are only required for a factory setup. If you decide to go with the factory setup, I would offer the pair of brackets for $50 plus shipping &PP.

excuse me? I’ve been waiting for a return label but you won’t send it. Being that it is a return bc of your mistake it needs to be sent to your address. Until then. Keep your bs out of my threads.

WTB rear sway bar installation kit for a 68 912
This is what was on a 911 that had no factory connections for rear sway bar.
I'm up in Canada which would be more money to ship than what I would want for it but it might help you if someone has something similar closer to you. |

I have not seen that set up. Do you have a photo of how it installs?

WTB rear sway bar installation kit for a 68 912
Sorry don't have any photos of it set-up.
The bar has a RACEMARK sticker on it. Racemark was a company back in the 70's but nothing on the internet about it now. I've had this sitting around for over 20 years, but what I remember was the larger brackets were bolted on the tranny mount. The smaller brackets I just can't remember right now where they were bolted on but the heim joints where used through that hole on top with through's crappy rubbers. |
