I emailed assuming it was probably a scam to find out.

It was. First they sent an email of some H4 headlights that I don't even think were Porsche.

I said wrong type.

Then they emailed with the correct ones but with stolen pictures from an old PCarMarket listing (per Google reverse image search) from someone in a different part of the US.

10 GT3 has tried to buy parts from me that i dont have listed for sale. then when i tell him a price, he low balls me and i say no i wont sell my parts for that price. then tells everyone im a scammer? what a loser. BEWARE of this guy

Scammer She advertised low back seat $225 including shipping. I paid. then she wanted $50 add for shipping, I paid. Then she asked for another $50. That's when I told her to refund my money, the original deal was $225 shipped. This has been going on since April.

Has anyone bought anything from ClassicEuroParts.com?

I’m very interested in a set of smoked taillight lenses and smoked reflector they have. I’ve communicated with someone there via email just asking questions and he (Armand) has been very responsive. The issue I have is that I Google them to see reviews and it’s coming up often from several forums that they are scammers. Ugh. I hope not but I’m debating paying PayPal and if they don’t deliver on time I’ll report them. Any advice is welcomed. Thanks

Anyone know why scammers are so pushy for a shipping address? I find they ask for a mailing address every other message. That is a red flag for me.

My guess is that they can sell information. So an email address matched with anything, including name, phone, and home address, probably has some value. I do know that there are robocallers that call random numbers all day long, and if someone picks up, the number is added to a database which is sold.

Here is the full chronology of my experience.

09/30/23 05:26 pm Sent a PM to nhs15, the original poster of an ad for “Fuchs 15X7 Wheels:”, expressing interest and asking 3 questions

09/30/24 05:40 pm nhs15 replied to my PM, with compete and very satisfactory answers to my Qs.

09/30/24 09:03 pm Received a PM from ksh842, “Pair Fuchs 15X7.” Note that titles were different
“Text me quickly for a quick response 315 3512 682”

09/30/24 09:21 pm Received an email from (Oops oce)oopsoce@gmail.com
“Hello I just got your email on my post
Where are you located”

10/02/24 06:02 am nhs15 replied via PM, confirming that ksh842/Oops oce is not him.

Although ksh842 and Oops oce may not be the same person, the intertwined PMs and emails from him/them and timing shortly after my initial inquiry to the OP, tend to confim that they are the same person(s).

I was emailed the following message by a scammer. their email is "oopsoce@gmail.com"

"Here’s my PayPal address
@Flinter62
Name: ALEX CORNWALL
Via friends and family option
Let me know once you make the payment"

I posted on the BB that I sent a PM to the seller and got the email from the scammer.

I then PMed the seller and also emailed the seller through the BB and was informed by the seller that he did not sent the email from the scammer.

Be careful and always verify the seller.
