83 CIS complete system w/ lambda ECU,

This came off a running 1983 SC 3.0 with about 86k miles. I’m installing some Weber’s.
Ide like to sell the whole system. In excellent condition. The only thing I see that it needs are some new straps for the air filter cover. It was removed all in one piece. So you just need to set onto the motor as is.
I even have the Lambda (ECU), CDI that can go with it.

CIS....$750 SOLD

ECU CDI and harness $500 SOLD

Unfinished Transaction.....but I am happy.

Not once but twice.

Then a new buyer a few hours ago offered to buy it and pays shipping. So the SELLER decided to sell it to the new buyer and disregard our agreement which were documented in several messages. There is no resentment. I am glad I did not get it.

Anyway, I am happy he got a better deal with this new transaction. I even suggested to the seller that it was OK to turn down my offer because I got too many CIS parts and don’t need additional parts to store.

Moral of the story: You don’t have to win everything to be happy.

Tony, Your good Karma account is paying dividends.
I just bought a new fuel pressure gauge kit to diagnose my CIS on your recommendation.
I'm happy

Tony. I am sorry.
You had all day to pay for this but you kept asking for it to be boxed first . Then a pic of it boxed with the shipping label. What was next? A pic of it on the delivery truck?
You wanted me to get more money for it as long as it wasn’t you. You offered $50 bellow then refused to pay for shipping. I just wanted it gone. Not to play games.
I’m glad the other buyer got it. He was happy with the deal, actually needed it and had no problem paying for shipping. He simply paid without a run around.
Thanks for understanding

Chad,

I offered to buy your CIS unit for $700 shipped and told you to give it more time to sell so you could get more money for this sale. And asked you not to make any quick decision because I don’t have any urgent need for them. But you replied the following day accepting my offer. I even told you it is OK to turn it down and still accepted my offer. Not once but twice.

You then asked for my address and gave them to you. So you were preparing the box and told you I will send the $700 payment as gift/friend as soon as you have found a shipping box.

I am not complaining that I did not the CIS unit. I am happy for you that you got a better deal. I was the one that suggested to give it more time to sell because someone might come up willing to pay your price. At the last minute, someone came up willing to buy it. And you accepted his offer too.

I am not disappointed because I did not get the CIS. I am happy for you because you get a better deal than what I offered you. Why are you complaining? I’m not complaining?

Tony

Not sure why we needed to bring our PM’s out in front of everyone if your fine with how this transaction ended up.
It’s all good Tony.
Thanks for your understanding
