Simply removed the left side heater housing for the MFI by drilling out the the spot welds. You can sell it separately as people with 72-73 MFI engines look for those. The seller of the HE, John can guide you.

I have good a set of early HEs I would sell and a set of original SSIs from before they were sold to Dansk. The latter will take some convincing to get me to part with them.
