You sure those are factory 930 fenders ? Always hard with pix but, they look like 911 fenders with butt welded flares.

The factory butt welded the Early Carrera and Turbo Carrera Flares in the 70’s, Hand crafted. These are not listed as 930 but are compatible. Let me know if you would like to see pictures of my ‘76 Turbo Carrera before it was in an accident years ago.

Yep. Through 1985. From 86 on they were stamped out of one piece.

Seems this buyer is being misleading about our transaction with the fenders. Since we used greyhound they neglected to scan the large package on its way out of Oakland. I’ve been transparent with the buyer about this issue of no tracking a available. The holidays and Covid-19 issues combined have delayed the delivery of the package. The buyer has labeled me a scammer on this great site. For those of you that know me well, it’s an untrue and an unfair judgment. I’ve always cherished the relationships I’ve built here over the last 20 yrs. I can guarantee everything I sell here is as described and gets to the buyer. Sometimes these things happen and there are delays that are out of my control.

Greyhound “lost” a pair of Recaro from me to someone in FL. Despite printed receipt, they were not of any help, and I eventually gave up and settled with the buyer. Greyhound should be absolutely the last resort. They are stone-aged.

It was a cost issue, turbo fenders would have cost $800 to ship normally. I won’t be shipping any large items again and keep it local.

Yup, Greyhound is horrible. They lost a complete brown leather interior I had purchased. They were clueless regarding tracking. Fortunately, the seller made good on it.

Buyer here, chiming in!
I’m not being misleading, there’s very little to report - which is the issue. The seller never delivered any tracking information, and Greyhound doesn’t show the package was ever delivered to them. After multiple requests, and several failed promises to deliver more information, I’ve filed a claim with PayPal. Thankfully, I didn’t send the payment via “Friends & Family” as requested by this (commercial) seller, so I should have some protection …

Interesting … The only shipment you quoted was via Greyhound; no other options were given. The seller may want to make this is a Greyhound issue - but he’s had multiple issues this month alone ![]() https://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-used-parts-sale-wanted/1105859-factory-930-turbo-front-valance-chin-spoiler.html

I have never had a problem with Greyhound. They sometimes take longer than 14 days for delivery though. I have shipped Turbo fenders, full interiors, sports seats, Turbo tea tray tails, a few times from los Angeles terminal to Florida, New York and Mid West. All items received with no problems. I guess I've been lucky
