WTB:49 MM cam carriers
I need a good pair of 49 MM cam carriers to install 964 cams on my 2.7 engine.

Didn’t know that 49mm cam towers worked with 2.7 engine.

Im using 964 cams and i know they have bigger jurnels. And they are larger than my 2.7 jurnels.
I guess I should see what size they are before i ask for the wrong parts. |

I’m not sure how if the 3.0 cam carriers can be used on 2.7 motor because head stud spacing is different between the 2 motors. I think that 49mm housings might not bolt on a 2.7 without modifying them? But maybe someone here would know. It might be easier to have 47mm cams ground to 964 profile?

The cam towers are interchangable on all 2.0 to 3.2.
Maybe 964 too, but I dont think so. Variations are: 3 bearing 47mm center lube (no spray bar) 6 stud exhaust covers 3 bearing 47mm with spray bar 11 stud exhaust covers 4 bearing 47mm 4 bearing 49mm (930 casting) 964 (different valve cover bolts)
