I had the box installed on my 2007 911 Turbo and drove around 4,000 miles with it. The difference it made in the car's performance was remarkable. The box is currently set up according to TPC's recommended configuration, which I obtained from their computer system. After conducting extensive research, I found that there is no need to manually adjust it, although it can be done using a laptop if desired.
In Normal Mode, the car's suspension automatically adjusts between 5% and 100% firmness, changing multiple times per second. In Sport Mode, it ranges from 20% to 80% firmness, if my memory serves me correctly, and also adapts frequently. According to the TPC experts, the default settings from Porsche are always 80% stiffness in Normal Mode and 20% stiffness in Sport Mode. This can be felt on the highway while navigating long sweeping corners and suspension bridges. The software in the box enhances the suspension's comfort when desired, but also increases stiffness during turns or under heavy braking to accommodate increased G-forces. Adding this modification to my 997 Turbo had the most significant impact on its performance. Before selling the car, I removed the DSC Controller Box and reinstalled the stock box. Therefore, the DSC Controller Box is now available for sale. It will be accompanied by the original invoice from TPC Racing, indicating a purchase price of $1,190 plus $71.40 in tax, totaling $1,261.40. Im asking to get $700, shipped or locally picked up. ![]()
