WTB/WTT RSR Wheels for my Group 4 Wheels

I have an RSR tribute build with 15in Group 4 wheels 9 Front, 11 Rears 15in diameter. Id like to trade or buy a Fuchs RSR , Turbo, or Magnus walker style wheel.

Looking for 17in wheels instead of 15s.

Located in Denver

Sam

Question...

What size tires are you running on the group fours?
Any spacers?

They look great.

GLWS

The only 17 Fuchs that look halfway good are the Zuffenhaus Fuch replicas. They cost a fortune though. I know your car well. Great car. Amazing brakes. I'd put 15 inch Fuchs w Michelin TB5's on it.

i have a set of 17 inch TruDesign Fuchs (factory centers) I'd be willing to part with. 8 and 9.5 wide good michelin tires on them too.

Hey sorry for the late reply. How do you know my car? I’d love more info/history on it unfortunately it didn’t come with many records. I have put about 1k miles so far on the canyons and roads here in CO and it’s been incredible after sorting out a few minor things! (To be expected)

Thanks it’s been an absolute blast I got rid of my 997.1 GT3 and this has been so nice getting back to an air cooled with some power and light weight! There’s nothing like it…

I don’t know your car, what chassis and trailing arms do u have. It plays a roll if you have a 930 chassis or turbo trailing arms, as opposed to regular G body.

It’s an 82 SC. What’s your point?

It would determine the correct backspacing for the new wheels

With a SC chassis and turbo flares, RSR configured wheel off sets will work. Your golden.

Without getting under it and looking for a part number the turbo brakes on it are mounted in front of the Axel as apposed to behind the Axel so that leads me to believe it doesn’t have turbo or RSR trailing arms correct? My understanding is to do that it’s quite a bit of work. What is cool is it does have the floating rotors! Which is noisy but better for performance I am told.

RSR and SC trailing arms locate the wheel flange in the same location. Pick up point and caliper location aside, turbo trailing arms locate the wheel flange about 2” more outboard, not allowing RSR dimension 11” wheels to fit without sticking way out of the fender. Your forward mounted calipers tells me you have SC type rear arms.
Note 11” BBS wheel on the back of my car with RSR flares and turbo arms, no deep offset in the rims.
