Restoration Guides
Are there any Restoration Guides for 911SC or G series?
That shows differences in years, ie the control knob changed in 85 etc.. Like this for Austin Healey's

I have this guide which has been very useful. Color version would be best though.

I have that book too, as well as the version for the early cars. But I don't think they are bibles. There are errors and omissions. Or maybe to be more fair to the author, not all cars were built the way there were supposed to be.
I think it is best to use multiple references. These books, the Porsche Red Book, the parts manual, and even take advantage of the huge photo archive you can access through the Bring a Trailer classifieds. Want to confirm interior trim? Search for all cars of that year in BAT and check the photos. Mark
