I bought an alternator from apsal, including the oh-so-hard-to-find pulley nut. Turns out it had a bad diode and the stator was shot. I tried to get it repaired but they couldn't source parts at a local shop. Al refunded 2/3 of my purchase price, no issues, no hassles.

It's guys like Al that make buying and selling parts here awesome! He's definitely one of the good guys.

I bought a pair of 1/4" spacers from Kevin Lehmann - ktl on this forum.

The spacers arrived promptly in great condition for a fair price. Good communication too.

Just bought a rear deck lid from an 86 Carrera from TPWeiss9953 for $100.00. Shipping was $107, still within budget overall. The lid was just as described, and delivered on time by UPS. Excellent !

Have to post about my transaction with Falk930. I bought a set of 8&9's RUF wheels from him and am exceptionally happy.

First and foremost he is completely honest and forward on condition and damage. I knew I was buying a used set of wheels and did expect some scratches and dings. He described and photographed each wheel and any damage of such.

Every time I emailed him to check on shipping/expected time of arrival, he was courteous and prompt to respond.

I will and actually am doing more business with him in the future.

I recently purchased a set of rear shelf speaker grills from Si banker and could not be more pleased. With the fine wrinkle finish that he applied and the final fit of the mesh grills that I kept from the originals one would be hard pressed to know that they are not Porsche originals. In addition, Si bankers responded so fast that they arrived at my door step in four days. The price was more than acceptable as everyone who had a set of the originals wanted $150 bucks plus. And we all know how long the originals last - not! Thanks again Si banker. Anyone wanting a set can get in touch with him through our host PM or email.

+++1 for PP. I have only purchased parts online so I have not needed to speak to anyone in sales. The thing that I find outstanding is that I have consistently received the right part. ..As a comparison -after purchasing numerous parts over the decades from one of our local large parts store chain' - I have often not only been delivered the wrong part once;sometimes twice, and on the odd occasion even on the 3rd.
