Ted, if your still interested in a pair of cores, I finally replaced my fronts yesterday with the ones i bought from you in the summer. How much are they worth? (77 930)

my interest is in a pair of STRUTS to be used in a project.
so they are essentially CORES that will be substantially modified. the INSERTS (shocks) are not necessary. but thanks for the thought! and have you driven the new setup much yet? |

you bet I've driven the setup.
the shocks transformed the car into a different animal; but still not too harsh. The car actually turns when I want it to and goes where I point it, when I point it. Again without the filling-jarring ride of a purpose-built track car. thanks for all your input and help! Bill K

there's a lot of smoke, mirrors and scuttlebutt regarding proper damper values out there, so i took it upon myself to TRY THINGS.
mostly the rumor and inuendo regarding 'too stiff' is JUST WRONG. a good set of shocks, properly valved, are great even when more firm. enjoy! ted |
