WTB cheap 915 clutch alignment tool
Looking for a cheap 915 clutch alignment tool. Anyone have an extra one? Plastic one, as long it is not chewed by the family dog is just fine.
Thanks, Doug Wierenga

Doug, I need the same. I called the local auto parts store, ordered a plastic alignment tool for $3 and it works great. Hope you are as lucky....Garry

yep, found it - it says FORD 20 on it, but I'm pretty sure my brother used it when he put the new clutch in the old motor - i'll bring it on sat assuming it all goes to plan

Spline count on the 915 disc is common to other makes of cars. I used the tool that came with my Mitsu/Eagle/Plymouth clutch kit to install a 915 clutch.
Point being, others who need to do this (or did search and found this topic) should check the local parts store. A substitute tool for a different make of car will work. Obviously all that's necessary is the proper spline count or diameter of the tool- even a broomstick will work!
